Coach Zack Ashford grew up in Chino, California and played at Chino High School graduating in 2012. Zack played at East Los Angeles College for two years, hitting .300 during his Freshmen year. He was then selected to the Junior College Sophomore Showcase in 2014. During his Sophomore season ,he lead his team in RBI’s and outfield assists, helping his team win a South Coast Conference Championship and advanced to the playoffs. Zack received a scholarship to play at Rogers State University, a DII school in Claremore, Oklahoma. He earned the starting spot in Right Field for both his Junior and Senior years. Zack also represented his school in a Pro Day in Oklahoma City during his Junior year, and was named one of the Captains of the team his senior year. While at RSU he earned his Bachelors in Justice Administration and his minor in Sociology. Once he completed his schooling, he got an opportunity to play independent ball in the Empire League for the New York Bucks. Zack helped the Bucks through their best regular season record as a team and sent them into the playoffs as the number one seed in which they made it to the Championship series. Coach Zack was the head coach of the JV team for Chino High,  worked for Baseball Factory and coached collegiately for the East LA Dodgers summer league team.
